Certificate II in Hospitality
Hospitality is a diverse industry focusing on customer service. In this course you will learn entry level skills and knowledge about working in the industry and specifically for a café. With practicing your barista skills and work experience being core components, you will finish this course with increased confidence and skills.

Career Pathways
With this qualification under your belt, you will be equipped to gain initial employment in hospitality, start a traineeship or apprenticeship, or start further study in a Certificate III or Diploma in Hospitality.

SIT20322 Certificate II in Hospitality (12 units)

To successfully complete this course, you are required to undertake a minimum of 12 complete service periods.
Work Placement Requirements and Associated Costs
This course includes a mandatory work placement component. Completion of work placement is a required part of achieving competency in this qualification.
Tactile Learning is responsible for supporting students to secure and organise suitable work placement venues and host employers.
However, it is important to note that any additional costs associated with completing work placement are the responsibility of the student. These may include (but are not limited to) travel to and from the workplace, uniforms or appropriate clothing, personal protective equipment (PPE), and any required checks or clearances (such as Blue Card or Police Check requirements).
Students are encouraged to consider these costs prior to enrolment and speak with us if they need help planning for or understanding these requirements.
