Dale Crump is an experienced Automotive Trainer and Assessor at Tactile Learning, dedicated to training and mentoring senior high school students through a Certificate II in Prevocational Automotive.

With a diverse background in the automotive industry, Dale’s passion for cars and sharing knowledge with the next generation drove him to pursue a career in training.

Dale’s journey into the automotive industry was fueled by his childhood fascination with high-powered race cars. Inspired by the experiences of watching Group A touring cars and Speedway with his family, he set his sights on becoming a mechanic to fulfil his dream of owning, driving, and working on these powerful vehicles.

With 25 years of industry experience, Dale has held various roles, including mechanic, costing clerk, warranty clerk, and service advisor in multiple automotive dealerships. He also served as a mechanic and workshop manager for leading automotive franchised businesses, gaining invaluable expertise and insights throughout his career.

Joining the Tactile Learning team three years ago, Dale was drawn to the organisation’s focus on more than just “Teaching the Skills” of the automotive industry. Tactile Learning’s commitment to having a lasting impact on students’ futures resonated with him, making it a perfect fit for his passion for mentoring and guiding young individuals.
