Isaac Kelly is a dedicated and accomplished Leather Production Trainer and Assessor at Tactile Learning.

Isaac plays a pivotal role in guiding aspiring professionals in the art of leatherwork and shoe production. Isaac’s passion lies in working with his hands and appreciating the practicality and artistic elements of leatherwork, which continually fascinate him with the ever-changing nature of the craft.

Isaac’s journey in the industry began at a young age, immersing himself in shoe making from the age of 15. Over the years, he has accumulated an impressive set of qualifications and industry experience, including mastering the craft through his Certificate III in Leather Production and gaining comprehensive knowledge of shoe production with his Certificate III in Footwear.

Committed to empowering others through education, Isaac also holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessing, equipping him with the skills to mentor and train apprentices from all corners of Australia.

As a Leather Production Trainer and Assessor, Isaac fulfils a range of essential responsibilities at Tactile Learning:

  • Conducting certification courses (Cert II) within schools to nurture young talents in the art of leatherwork and shoe production.
  • Mentoring and training apprentices, imparting invaluable expertise in shoe making, shoe repair, and leather production.

Isaac joined Tactile Learning in March 2022, inspired by the dynamic nature of his role. He relishes the diversity of work he undertakes, the meaningful relationships he builds with learners, and the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse array of individuals.
